The new 137,000-square-foot State Museum in the Bill Haslam Center, which opened in the fall of 2018, sits on the northwest corner of the Bicentennial Mall, at the corner of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Jefferson Street in downtown Nashville. With expansive views of the State Capitol and the Nashville skyline, this state-of-the-art, contemporary facility is designed to tell Tennessee’s story through interactive exhibits, multi-media presentations and emerging technologies which will bring the museum’s extraordinary collection of artifacts and displays to life.
