The Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (DIDD) worked hard to craft an in-depth training session to improve potential outcomes when law enforcement officers encounter people with disabilities.  The training has been presented twice to dozens of training officers from across Tennessee and to special agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.  Both sessions were extremely productive, and more trainings are planned in the months to come.

The presentation to the TBI on July 29, 2015 was recorded and has been uploaded to the department's YouTube channel for anyone to view.  You can access it at this link: https://youtu.be/8e42-U5kK_E
