Sponsor a Program

The term "sponsor" refers to the organization that carries the administrative duties for the apprenticeship program. Many employers will partner with a training organization to be the sponsor of the apprenticeship program, while other employers elect to be their own sponsor. Being classified as an apprenticeship sponsor means that the organization is responsible for all training, tracking of progress for each apprentice, and reporting progress and maintaining information in the USDOL RAPIDS system.
