  • NRS23.207 - Navin Jain proposes to construct a residential development in Cookeville (Putnam County) impacting 2.37 acres of wetlands. Mitigation will be through purchase of 4.74 credits from the Gleason Creek Wetland Mitigation Bank.
  • NRS24.021 - Spring Hill Holdings, LLC proposes permanent impacts to 3.82 acres of wetlands and 190 feet of stream and temporary stream and wetland impacts for a mixed-use residential development in Spring Hill (Maury County). Mitigation will be through purchase of 8.56 wetland credits from the Tennessee Mitigation Fund Lower Tennessee River Service Area. Stream impacts are de minimis
  • NRS24.036 - The Tennessee Department of Transportation proposes to impact 300 feet of an unnamed tributary to Titus Creek, including 19 feet of stream length loss, through fill, channel construction, and pipe and wingwall installation near I-75 Exit 141 in Campbell County. Stream impacts will be mitigated by allocating 23.1 functional foot credits from previously purchased credits at the Smoky Run Mitigation Bank.

  • NRS22.223 - River Stone Construction, LLC proposes additional fill of 0.49 acres of wetland and numerous stream crossings for a residential development on Minnis Road NE (Bradley County). Wetland impacts will be offset through purchase of 0.9 wetland credits from the Tennessee Mitigation Fund Southeast service area. This is a permit modification request.
  • NRS23.316 - OV 03 Bradyville, LLC proposes to fill 0.79 acres of wetlands for construction of two retail facilities in Murfreesboro (Rutherford County). Mitigation will be through purchase of 1.58 wetland mitigation credits from the Harpeth River Reserve, LLC.
  • NRS24.018 - John and Beverly Clifton propose to add 50 feet of rip rap to existing rip rap for bank stabilization on Watts Bar Reservoir in Meigs County.

  • NRS17.285 Modification #1 - Phillips Builders, LLC proposes a revised permittee-responsible stream mitigation design and an additional third-party credit purchase from the Brady Branch Mitigation Bank. Previously authorized impacts include encapsulation of 731 feet of an unnamed tributary to Drakes Creek for the Laurel Park residential development in Hendersonville (Sumner County).
  • NRS23.315 - ARCO/Murray National Nashville, LLC proposes to impact 453 feet of stream with three-sided box culverts and fill 0.66 acres of wetland for construction of a warehouse facility. Mitigation for impacts to aquatic resources will be through purchase of 232 functional feet stream credits from Brady Branch Mitigation Bank and 1.33 wetland credits from Gleason Creek Mitigation Bank.
  • NRS24.007 - The Northwest Tennessee Regional Port Authority proposes to fill 0.36 acres of wetland and install two stream crossings associated with a 5.5-mile-long rail addition near Tiptonville (Lake County) to connect the TennKen railroad to Port of Cates Landing.

  • NRS23.345 - The Tennessee Department of Transportation proposes to impact 199 feet of stream channel with stream channel relocation, 53 feet of stream channel with bridge construction, 116 feet of streambank with riprap installation and 0.209 acres of permanent wetland fill while replacing the SR-61/Oliver Springs Highway Bridge over Brushy Creek in Anderson County. Unavoidable impacts to streams will be mitigated by allocating 79.6 functional foot credits from previously purchased credits from Flat Creek Mitigation Bank. Unavoidable impacts to wetlands will be offset by allocating 0.52 credits at a 2:1 ratio with a 1.25:1 proximity factor from previously purchased credits from Shady Valley Wetland Mitigation Bank.
  • NRS24.031 – Tennessee Department of Transportation proposes 300 feet of stream impacts and 0.10 acres of wetland impacts for the widening of State Route 57 in Shelby County. Stream mitigation will be through 133 credits from Rossville Farm Mitigation Bank.

  • NRS23.179 - Alston Construction Company, Inc. proposes 104 feet of encapsulation of an unnamed tributary to West Branch Hurricane Creek for expansion of a commercial site on Gould Boulevard in La Vergne (Davidson County). Stream mitigation will be through purchase of 42.6 credits from the Gleason Creek Mitigation Bank.
  • NRS23.192 - The Tennessee Valley Authority proposes permanent impacts to 0.32 acres of wetland and temporary riparian zone impacts to Hickory Creek and miscellaneous tributaries of Melton Hill Reservoir for construction access for a 5.8-mile transmission line within a new right-of-way in Knox and Loudon Counties. Wetland mitigation will be through purchase of 0.36 wetland mitigation credits from the Tennessee Wildlife Federation In-Lieu Fee Program.
  • NRS23.200 - The Tennessee Department of Transportation proposes 80 feet of permanent impacts and 388.5 feet of temporary impacts to the Duck River and three unnamed tributaries for bridge replacement and bank stabilization, and 0.08 acres of temporary wetland impacts in Old Stone Fort State Park in Manchester (Coffee County).
  • NRS23.222 - Ivor Petri proposes permanent impacts to 40 feet of Alex Branch through bed, bank, and riparian zone alterations and temporary impacts to 500 feet of stream associated with the construction of a low-head hydropower system in Graysville (Sequatchie County).
  • NRS23.274C - Metro Water Services proposes stream restoration on approximately 1,500 feet of two unnamed streams in Shelby Bottoms Golf Course (Davidson County). Stream restoration will generate up to 634 functional foot credits for permittee responsible mitigation to offset impacts associated with the expansion of the Omohundro Water Treatment facility authorized by NRS23.274B.
  • NRS23.297 - The City of Franklin proposes to replace a 150-foot culvert with a 140-foot culvert, remove a 140-foot culvert and encapsulate 280 feet of stream, and fill 0.03 acres of wetland for the widening of McEwen Drive (Williamson County). Proposed stream impacts are on South Prong Spencer Creek and Mayes Creek, and will be offset through purchase of credits from the Harpeth River Mitigation Bank and Cumberland River Compact In-Lieu Fee program. Wetland impacts will be offset by purchase of 0.06 credits from the Harpeth River Mitigation Bank.
  • NRS23.341 - Tracy Sneed proposes removal of an earthen dam and dredging of a tributary embayment to provide navigation for a proposed dock in the Hiwassee River Embayment of Chickamauga Reservoir in Meigs County. Other alterations include shoreline rip rap stabilization and installation of a boat ramp.
  • NRS24.001 - Tulit Investments proposes residential and commercial development resulting in 3.23 acres of wetland impacts and 196 feet of stream impacts, including Stoners Creek in Mt. Juliet (Wilson County). To offset permanent wetland impacts, the applicant will purchase 6.46 credits from in-service area banks (5.59 credits from Sandhill Mitigation Bank and 0.87 credits from Harpeth River Mitigation Bank).
  • NRS24.023B - The City of Gatlinburg proposes water withdrawal from the West Prong Little Pigeon River at up to 3.25 million gallons per day (MGD) for public water supply. Of this, 2.2 million MGD is an existing withdrawal as of July 25, 2000, and is exempt from the requirements of this permit if it does not adversely affect classified uses of the river. River flow will not be reduced below 6.63 cubic feet per second.

  • NRS23.114 - KCI Technologies, Inc. proposes stream restoration treatments for development of the Porterhouse Valley Mitigation Bank. Restoration will be applied to 6,829 feet of tributaries to Little Chestuee Creek and to Wilson Branch of Little Chestuee Creek, resulting in 7,755 feet of stream.
  • NRS23.350 - The Tennessee Department of Transportation proposes 330 feet of encapsulation on Buffalo Creek for construction of an access road to the Norris Industrial Park in the City of Norris (Anderson County). Stream impacts will be mitigated by allocating 195.7 functional foot credits from previously purchased credits from the Flat Creek Mitigation Bank.

  • NRS23.231 - The City of La Vergne proposes six open-cut stream crossings for gravity and force main sewer lines on an unnamed tributary of Rock Springs Branch near Waldron Road in Rutherford County. The work is for residential development.
  • NRS23.347 - First Utility District of Knoxville proposes 545 feet of open-cut trenching and placement of wooden mats in a wetland in existing right of way for installation of gravity sewer line near Dalen Lane and Lovell Road in Knoxville (Knox County). The 0.19 acres of wetland impacts are temporary.

  • NRS23.160 - Black Rifle Coffee Company proposes expansion that will permanently impact 1.29 acres of wetlands and 96 feet of an unnamed stream in Manchester (Coffee County). Compensatory wetland mitigation is proposed onsite with the preservation of 3.04 acres and the purchase of 2.36 credits from the Sequatchie Valley Wetland Bank.
  • NRS23.163 - Lynn Nickoley proposes armoring 175 feet of the Hiwassee River Embayment of Chickamauga Reservoir near Kimbrough Lane in Georgetown (Meigs County) for bank stabilization. No mitigation is required.
  • NRS23.185 - The City of Murfreesboro proposes permanent impacts to 2.61 acres of wetland for the West Rutherford Boulevard Extension project (Rutherford County). Mitigation will be through the purchase of 5.22 wetland mitigation credits from the Christmas Creek Mitigation Bank.
  • NRS23.272 - The Tennessee Valley Authority proposes to install six temporary culverts in streams and place temporary wooden mats on 12 wetlands in existing right of ways in support of transmission line upgrades – Moccasin to Falling Water Stations, Hamilton County.
  • NRS23.349 - Broderick Chad Mathis proposes removal of approximately 1,860 cubic yards of gravel from a dry bar on Dry Creek near East Main Street and Cripps Road in Dowelltown (DeKalb County) for personal farm use and incidental sale.

  • NRS21.134 - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers proposes 195 feet of stream fill for the construction of instream detention structures, 85 feet of stream fill and replacement, five feet of stream channel loss, 80 feet of stream encapsulation, 4,200 feet of streambank bench construction and 0.2 acres of wetland impact for flood control. Impacts to Fillauer Creek (Bradley County) will be offset onsite with improvements to stream channels and riparian corridors. Wetland impacts will be offset by the purchase of 0.5 credits from an In -lieu Fee program sponsored by the Tennessee Wildlife Federation.
  • NRS23.286 - Delta Industries, Inc. proposes to develop an approximately 15-acre site along Cypress Creek Drive in Eads/Arlington (Shelby County) and fill approximately 0.66 acres of wetlands for the construction of a concrete mixing plant and associated infrastructure. Mitigation will be through the purchase of 1.12 credits from the Loosahatchie River Mitigation Bank.
  • NRS23.325 - The Tennessee Valley Authority proposes permanent impacts to 5.40 acres of wetland and temporary impacts to 0.19 acres of wetland and 25 feet of stream for the construction of a transmission line between the new combined cycle plant and the transmission grid on the Cumberland Fossil Plant Reservation in Cumberland City (Stewart County). Wetland mitigation will be provided by the purchase of 6.75 credits from the Harpeth River Mitigation Bank.

  • NRS23.072 - Brushy Fork Environmental Consulting, Inc. proposes stream and wetland impacts on an unnamed tributary to Beaverdam Creek in Shady Valley (Johnson County). Permanent stream impacts are the restoration of 1,224 feet of stream resulting in 1,546 feet of restored stream. Temporary impacts to 0.15 acres of wetland will occur for stream restoration activities. This work is for the development of an additional phase of The Nature Conservancy’s Shady Valley Mitigation Bank.
  • NRS23.186 - The Tennessee Department of Transportation proposes impacts to four streams, six wetlands, and four ponds, and restoration of a stream through levee setback for a bypass (State Route 76/U.S. 79) around the towns of Atwood and Trezevant (Carroll County). The loss of 394.2 functional feet of the stream will be offset by Permittee Responsible Mitigation at the Reedy Creek PRM site. Wetland impacts of 0.65 acres and pond impacts of 0.76 acres will be offset by the allocation of 2.82 credits previously purchased from the Obion Wetland Mitigation Bank.
  • NRS23.237 - The Tennessee Department of Transportation proposes impacts in Fayette County to unnamed tributaries to Big Muddy Creek and three wetlands for widening of State Route 222 for access to Project Blue Oval. The loss of 522.9 functional feet of stream will be offset through the Big Muddy Permittee Restoration Site. Wetland fill of 0.036 acres will be offset by the purchase of 0.07 credits from Hatchie Wetland Mitigation Bank. Temporary impacts to 0.111 acres of wetland will be restored and monitored for two years and 1,206 feet of relocated stream will be monitored for five years.
  • NRS23.242 - Brighton Valley Apartments proposes the removal of 153 feet of stream encapsulation and replacing it with an open trapezoidal channel graded to connect flowlines in Nashville (Davidson County).

  • NRS22.293 - Blue Ridge Waterways, Inc. proposes varying stream and wetland impacts associated with establishing the Notchy Creek Stream and Wetland Mitigation Bank (Madisonville, Monroe County). Impacts include restoration of approximately 7,549 feet of tributaries to Notchy Creek and approximately 35 acres of wetland, resulting in 9,545 feet of stream and 43.65 acres of wetland. Stream restoration activities will result in 2.9 acres of temporary wetland impacts.
  • NRS23.243 - Cleveland Ford proposes 0.08 acres of wetland fill and 139 feet of encapsulation of an unnamed tributary to Candies Creek for parking lot expansion and infrastructure upgrades in Cleveland (Bradley County).
  • NRS23.270 - CSX Transportation, Inc. proposes permanent impacts to 0.79 acres of wetland, temporary impacts to 0.54 acres of wetland and 70 feet of the South Fork Obion River for replacement of a trestle bridge and two approach structures on CSXT mainline near McKenzie (Carroll County). Wetlands mitigation for permanent impacts will be through purchase of 1.58 credits from the Gilmer’s Creek Wetland Mitigation Bank.
  • NRS23.290 - The USDA Forest Service Cherokee National Forest Nolichucky/Unaka District proposes removal of a low-head dam at the Horse Creek Campground in the Cherokee National Forest in Greene County to enhance public safety.
  • NRS23.302 - Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc. proposes permanent impacts to 2.13 acres of wetland, 5.73 acres of pond, and 1,181 feet of unnamed tributaries to Tenmile Creek for construction of a facility in Memphis (Shelby County). Mitigation for permanent impacts will be provided through wetland and stream credit purchases from the Rossville Farm Mitigation Bank.
  • NRS23.327 - Valero Refining Company proposes dredging of 55,000 cubic yards of sediment and installation of a barge anchoring dolphin in McKellar Lake in Memphis (Shelby County) to provide barge access at that facility. Dredged materials will be transported via hydraulic pipeline or barge to the Corps of Engineers disposal site on Treasure Island or the Memphis and Shelby County Port Commission disposal site at the mouth of McKellar Lake.
  • NRS23.333 - Aquatic Weed Wizards proposes dredging of 2,500 cubic yards of sediment from a pond for sediment removal and fountain replacement at Monte Vista Memorial Park (Johnson City, Washington County). Dredged materials will be disposed on site.
  • NRS23.336 - The Town of Gainesboro proposes to construct a water withdrawal intake and install two raw water lines for withdrawal of 1.5 million gallons of water per day from the Cumberland River/Cordell Hull Reservoir in Jackson County. The purpose of the activity is to replace aging and failing infrastructure and increase public water supply for the area.
