CFG Planning

Tennessee State Government formally established a performance management system with the Governmental Accountability Act of 2013. This performance management system — known as CFG Planning — is an annual planning process managed by Customer Focused Government (CFG) that supports all 23 cabinet-levels departments with the development, monitoring, and reporting of their CFG Plan. These plans align with the Governor's Operational Priorities and are informed by departments’ 4-Year Strategic Plans. CFG Plans outline Operational Goals and Strategic Initiatives that increase operational efficiency and improve service and program delivery. CFG continuously tracks and monitors performance data, placing publicly available CFG Plan data on the state's transparency and accountability website, Transparent Tennessee.
