Our Services

As Tennessee State Government's internal consulting group, Customer Focused Government (CFG) offers a diverse collection of services to help state agencies accomplish their goals and objectives, all in support of providing better service to Tennesseeans.

CFG has the skills and experience necessary in strategy, enterprise operations, and project management to help agencies solve problems and improve operations. Our team can assist your agency in four distinct areas: consulting services, LEAN events, strategic planning, and facilitations/training.

Consulting Services
General business analysis, recommendations, and/or process improvement for a program, service, or business unit. A consulting engagement generally lasts 4-12 months.

LEAN Event
A collaborative team meeting that breaks down all the details of any processes needing improvement in speed, quality, or overall efficiency, and results in a detailed action plan for achieving those improvements that best suit the team's needs.

Strategic Planning
Assistance developing strategic, measurable goals and objectives for a department’s 4-year Strategic Plan, CFG Plan, or individual program or business unit.

Facilitation/Training
Guided workshops, retreats, after-action reviews, and other events aimed at setting strategy, solving complex problems, and improving business processes. Facilitation/training services are generally less than one month in duration.
