EDI Guide

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) affords insurers and the Bureau of Workers' Compensation a method of exchanging necessary workers’ compensation claims information electronically and thereby avoiding multiple entries of data into computer systems. EDI is fast, accurate, reliable and cost effective.

Program Rules

In addition to the law, the Legislature permits the Bureau to promulgate rules and regulations in aid of carrying out its mission. Find the various rules that govern Workers’ Compensation in Tennessee.

Open Records Request Rules

Pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. § 10-7-503(g), the following Public Records Policy for the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation is hereby adopted to provide economical and efficient access to public records as provided under the Tennessee Public Records Act (“TPRA”) in Tenn. Code Ann. § 10-7-501, et seq.

A non-profit that awards scholarships to dependent children of a parent or guardian who has been seriously, catastrophically, or fatally injured because of a work-related accident.
