Child Support

DHS offers numerous services to parents or legal guardians trying to obtain financial and medical support for their child or children. Our child support staff can help you locate a missing parent, establish paternity, obtain or modify court orders and enforce those orders.

Child Care Services

The Child Care Services section plans, implements, and coordinates activities and programs to ensure quality, accessibility and the health and safety of children in care. 

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly known as food stamps) provides nutritional assistance benefits to children and families, the elderly, the disabled, unemployed and working families.

Nutrition Programs

The Child and Adult Care Food Program and the Summer Food Service Program are administered by the Department of Human Services.
