Letter Request

About Requesting a Letter

Congratulatory letters from the governor are issued as a courtesy to Tennessee residents to recognize individuals or organizations. These public service documents are strictly honorary and are not legally binding.

Only one type of congratulatory letter will be provided to recognize an individual or organization. Multiple requests will not be fulfilled.

The governor’s office reserves the right to decline any request for a congratulatory letter.
