Tennessee Auctioneer Commission

Tennessee reciprocates with the following states: Alabama (AL), Arkansas (AR), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), Illinois (IL), Indiana (IN), Kentucky (KY), Louisiana (LA), Massachusetts (MA), Mississippi (MS), New Hampshire (NH), North Carolina (NC), Ohio (OH), Pennsylvania (PA), South Carolina (SC), Texas (TX), Virginia (VA), West Virginia (WV), and Wisconsin (WI). 


Auctioneer must be licensed in the reciprocal state:

  1. Complete and submit to the Tennessee Auctioneer Commission an on-line application on CORE.
    a.) Consent for Service of Jurisdiction
    b.) A copy of applicant's driver’s license
    c.) Letter of Good Standing from Reciprocal State
  2. Every nonresident auctioneer shall maintain an escrow account for all funds belonging to others that come into the nonresident auctioneer's possession as a result of an auction sale in this state.
  3. Submit Payment of License Fees to the Tennessee Auctioneer Commission

Reciprocal licensing fees will be charged at the TN state rate.

Unless all questions are fully answered, application will be returned for correction.
