Approved Non-Toxic Art Supplies for K-6
Tennessee law imposes limits on what art supplies can be acquired for use by students in kindergarten and grades one through six. To this end, the Department has elected to adopt the Certified Products List of the Art & Creative Materials Institute, Inc. (ACMI), which can be accessed at the link below.
Only those supplies bearing the AP, AP Non-Toxic, CP, CP Non-Toxic, or HL (No Health Labeling Required) seals have been determined by ACMI to be safe for students in kindergarten and grades one through six.
