In the Antarctic, after an expedition with Dr. Davis McClaren (Bruce Greenwood), the sled dog trainer Jerry Shepherd (Paul Walker) has to leave the polar base with his colleagues due to the proximity of a heavy snow storm. He ties his dogs to be rescued after, but the mission is called off and the dogs are left alone to their own fortune. For six months, Jerry tries to find a sponsor for a rescue mission while his dogs fight for survival. Rated PG.

Carl Denham (Jack Black) needs to finish his movie and has the perfect location; Skull Island. But he still needs to find a leading lady. This 'soon-to-be-unfortunate' soul is Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts). No one knows what they will encounter on this island and why it is so mysterious. Living on this hidden island is a giant gorilla who now has Ann in its grasp. Carl and Ann's new love, Jack Driscoll (Adrien Brody), must travel through the jungle looking for Kong and Ann, whilst avoiding all sorts of creatures and beasts. But Carl has another plan. Griet, played by Scarlett Johansson, is a maid in the house of painter Johannes Vermeer, played by British actor Colin Firth. Vermeer's wealthy patron and sole means of support, Van Ruijven, commissions him to paint Griet with the intent that he will have her for himself before it is finished. Rated PG-13.

Quill is up for the challenge of teaching Watanabe to trust not just him, but other people as well in this heartwarming hit from Japan.

As the hopeless local team prepares for the arrival of the ex-pro stars, event organizers not only abscond with the proceeds, but they bring in fake hockey stars too. Manon Rheume plays herself in this fast-paced movie featuring hijinks, romance, plenty of fun and, yes, some hockey!

Based on former Marine Anthony Swofford's best-selling 2003 book about his pre-Desert Storm experiences in Saudi Arabia and about his experiences fighting in Kuwait. Jarhead (the self-imposed moniker of the Marines) follows "Swoff" (Jake Gyllenhaal), a third-generation enlistee, from a sobering stint in boot camp to active duty. Jamie Foxx portrays Sergeant Sykes, a Marine lifer who heads up Swofford's scout/sniper platoon, while Peter Sarsgaard is Swoff's friend and mentor, Troy. Rated R.
