The Archival Technical Services section within the Tennessee State Library and Archives is responsible for the acquisition, arrangement, description, cataloging, preservation, and maintenance of permanent State records, historical documents, and genealogical materials related to the State of Tennessee and its history. This section is also responsible for recording and preserving on audio tape the legislative sessions and selected committees of the Tennessee General Assembly.
