The kind of benefits you have depend
on the kind of TennCare you have.

For example, as of January 1, 2006, TennCare members who also have Medicare receive pharmacy benefits through a Medicare drug plan.

This means that their drug coverage is through Medicare, not TennCare Medicaid. But, other adults with TennCare Medicaid may have a monthly limit for prescriptions OR they may have unlimited prescription coverage.
