District 47 - West TN - Northern
CARROLL COUNTY, SR-104:
The grading, drainage, paving and construction of a bridge on SR 104 over Grassy Hollow Creek. Roadway is CLOSED for duration of project.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-423: The grading, drainage, construction of a concrete I-beam bridge on SR 423 over Clear Creek. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.
Restrictions: Monday, February 12, a traffic signal system is being utilized. Traffic is reduced to one lane in with a 10’ lane restriction.

DYER COUNTY, SR-3 (US-51): Repair of bridges over South Fork Forked Deer River. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway in a construction zone. Traffic is reduced to one lane on US 51 (SR 3) in both north and southbound directions, from LM 24.73 to LM 25.00 in Lauderdale County and LM 0.00 to LM 0.40 in Dyer County. SR 3 (US 51) northbound traffic is then shifted to the southbound lanes in the crossover areas. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 portion of the project.
Restrictions: There is a 12’ 10” lane restriction.

DYER COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412): Repair of bridges over Lewis Creek. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.
On Monday, May 7, SR 20 was shifted into the westbound direction from LM 2.16 to LM 2.74 for bridge repair. Construction signs and message boards are in use.
Restrictions:
Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with a 12’ lane restriction.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-76: A resurfacing project from US 45W (SR 5) to north of Bledsoe Road will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-366 (US-45W): A resurfacing project on US 45W (SR 366) from US 45W BR (SR 5) to near US 45W (SR 5) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-54: The grading, drainage, construction of bridges, retaining wall and paving on SR 54 from near Rison Street to near Smith Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. *Speed limit has been reduced to 35MPH.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-76: A resurfacing project on US 79 (SR 76) from West Antioch Road to near the Tennessee River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-78: Construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee bridge on SR 78 over drainage ditch including grading, drainage, and paving will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-21: The construction of a spillway on Reelfoot Lake, including grading, drainage and paving. Temporary lane closures daily for both west/eastbound traffic. Construction signs and Flaggers are in use.

OBION COUNTY, Future I-69: Grading, drainage, construction of eight bridges on future I-69 from south of US 51 (SR 3) to south of US 45W (SR 5) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 (SR 3) portion of the project. The inside southbound lane on SR 3 is closed to all traffic for installation of barrier rail.

Restrictions: Tuesday, June 13, 2017 SR 3 has a lane shift in the north and southbound directions. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ 6” lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, SR-5: A resurfacing project on SR 5 from US 51 (SR 3) to the Kentucky State line will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

OBION COUNTY, SR-21: A resurfacing project on SR 21 from SR 183 to US 51 (SR 3) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

OBION COUNTY, SR-184: A resurfacing project on SR 184 from SR 21 to Church Street will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-239, SR-89, SR-54, SR-118: A resurfacing project on SR 239 (LM 0.00 to LM 0.72), SR 89 (LM 15.70 to LM 16.59), SR 54 (LM 10.64 to LM 12.57), SR 118 (LM 0.00 to LM 0.30) in and around downtown Dresden will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

District 48 - West TN – Middle/Southern
CHESTER/MCNAIRY COUNTIES, SR-22A;
A resurfacing project on SR 22A in McNairy County through Chester County to the Henderson County line will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

CROCKETT COUNTY, SR-76: The grading, drainage, paving and construction of bridges on SR 76 over Cypress Creek and overflow. On February 7, 2018, a traffic signal system is being utilized.

Restriction: There is a 11’ width restriction in place. Traffic reduced to one lane.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40: The grading, drainage, construction of a concrete bulb-tee bridge and paving on I-40 at the SR 196 (Hickory Withe Road) interchange. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.

Friday, September 21, 8:00 p.m. through Monday, September 24, 6:00 a.m.:

·       I-40 westbound will be reduced to one lane at mile marker 31 and shifted to the eastbound lanes where there will be one lane each direction through the project. This will allow the contractor to demo the existing bridge over the westbound lanes. The speed limit has been reduced to 60MPH. Weather Permitting.
Restriction
: There is a 16’ width restriction in place.
Backup date Friday, September 28, 8:00 p.m. through, Monday, October 1, 6:00 a.m.

Monday, September 24, through Saturday, September 29, 8:00 p.m.- 6:00 a.m.:
·       I-40 east and west bound will have temporary inside lane closures from mile marker 28 to mile marker 30 for the removal of temporary median crossovers.  The speed limit has been reduced to 60MPH. There will be a 16’ width restriction in place. Weather Permitting.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-100: Intersection improvements, including the grading, drainage and paving SR 100 at the intersection of SR 138 (LM 11.74) in Toone will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A resurfacing project on SR 15 from Main Street to near Bell Lane will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

HAYWOOD COUNTY-I-40: Resurfacing on I-40 east and westbound near Koko Rd to the SR 19 (Mercer Rd).
Sunday, September 23, through Thursday, September 27, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be temporary inside and outside lane closures on I-40 east and westbound from mile marker 60 to 51 for paving operations. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

There will be temporary inside and outside lane closures on I-40 east and westbound from mile marker 60 to 51 for paving operations. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-22: The resurfacing on SR-22 from near Bud Crockett Drive (LM 16.25) to I-40 will have intermittent lane closures daily.

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-22: The resurfacing on SR-22 from Jane Lane (LM 12.62) to near Bud Crockett Drive (LM 16.25) will have intermittent lane closures daily.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-197: Resurfacing from US 45 (SR 5) (LM 0.00) mile marker 87 to Henderson County Line mile marker 95.to the Chester County Line (LM 10.29)

MADISON COUNTY, SR-186 (US 45 Bypass) and I-40: Interchange improvements on SR 186 (US 45) north and southbound from the I-40 ramps to Old Hickory Blvd for paving and construction of retaining walls.  Widening of I-40 from just east of Exit 79 to just east of Exit 82.

Wednesday, September 19, through Wednesday, September 26:  There are no scheduled closures.

LOOK AHEAD:
Saturday, September 29, 6:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.:
Close left lanes of I-40 east and west bound for installation of barrier rail along the median. Weather Permitting.

Backup date Sunday, September 30, 6:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-5: The resurfacing on US 45 (SR 5) from SR 43 to the Gibson County line will have intermittent lane closures daily for resurfacing work.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday, September 19, through Wednesday, September 26, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:
There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to repair pavement on an as needed basis.

District 49 - West TN – Southwest
FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-194:
A resurfacing project on SR 194 from SR 57 to Whispering Meadows Drive will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY– SR 3 Brush Clearing (Maintenance|
Thursday, September 20, 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.:
There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 3 (US 51) southbound outside lane at MM 15.8 to clear brush and vegetation on the shoulder and ROW. Backup date will be Friday, September 21. Weather permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY , I-40 – Joint Seal Repair
Monday, September 24 through Thursday, September 27, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: INTERMITTENT
lane closures on I-40 east and westbound between MM 19.00 (Davies Plantation) and MM 27.00 (Fayette County Line) to allow for joint seal repairs. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40– Bridge Testing:
Tuesday, September 25, 8:00 p.m. -6:00 a.m.: INTERMITTENT
lane closures on I-40 east and westbound between MM 1.00 through MM 2.00 to allow for bridge testing. Weather Permitting

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 – Washout Repair:
Thursday, September 20, Friday, September 21, and Monday, September 24 through Wednesday, September 26, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: INTERMITTENT
lane closures on I-55 northbound between MM 10.00 (South Parkway) through MM 11.00 (McLemore) to allow for washout repairs. Weather Permitting

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 MemFix 4: Replacement of Norfolk Southern, SR 57 east and westbound bridges, and repair of Park Avenue bridge over I-240.
I-240: There are shoulder closures in the westbound direction of I-240 east/west between Quince and Walnut Grove. The lane closures along I-240 east and westbound between Quince and Walnut Grove will stay in place throughout the project.

The NIGHTLY closures are scheduled as follows:

·       Wednesday, September 19 and Thursday, September 20, 9:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.  – Each night there will be lane closures on Poplar Avenue westbound.

*The ramp from I-240 eastbound to Poplar Avenue westbound will be CLOSED.

*The ramp from Poplar Avenue westbound to I-240 westbound will be CLOSED.

·       Tuesday, September 25, through Thursday, September 27, 9:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. – Each night there will be lane closures on I-240 eastbound.

*The I-240 road to Poplar Avenue east and westbound will be CLOSED.

The FULL closures are as follows:

·       Friday, September 21, 9:00 p.m. - until Monday, September 24, 6:00 a.m.  – FULL CLOSURE of I-240 east and westbound. Poplar Avenue east and westbound to remain OPEN. There will be no access to I-240 from Poplar Avenue.LOOK AHEAD:

·       Friday, October 5, 9:00 p.m.- until Monday, October 8, 6:00 a.m. FULL CLOSURE of I-240 east and westbound and Poplar Avenue east and westbound.

·       Friday, October 12, 9:00 p.m.- until Monday, October 15, 6:00 a.m.  – FULL CLOSURE of I-240 east and westbound and Poplar Avenue east and westbond.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on SR 1 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from SR 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project.
On April 21, 2017
, Old Covington Pike East access to/from SR 14 was permanently CLOSED.

*Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: The grading, drainage, construction of concrete Bulb-Tee and I-beam bridges, signals and paving on SR 14 from east of Old Covington Pike to SR 385 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14:  A bridge repair at Raleigh-Millington Exit:
Wednesday, September 19, 2018, 12:00 a.m. through Thursday, January, 31, 2019:
Ramp D Bridge (Raleigh-Millington Exit) from northbound S.R.14 to Raleigh-Millington will be closed for repairs until January 2019.  Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-57: Resurfacing on SR 57 from near I-240 to Val Verde.
Sunday, September 23, through Thursday, September 27, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on SR 57 east and westbound to allow for resurfacing and safety improvements. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-177: Resurfacing on SR 177 from near Raleigh LaGrange to Woodchase.
Sunday, September 23, through Thursday, September 27, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on SR 177 (Germantown Rd.) north and southbound to allow for resurfacing and safety improvements. Weather Permitting. 

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385 from Ridgeway Road (LM-1.26) to near Hacks Cross Road (LM-6.13): Resurfacing will have lane closures throughout the project.

Sunday, September 23 through Thursday, September 27, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: INTERMITTENT lane closures on SR-385 east and westbound from Ridgeway Road (LM-1.26) to near Hacks Cross Road (LM-6.13) to perform the resurfacing work. One lane will be open in each direction. Weather permitting

Sunday, September 23 through Thursday, September 27, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: INTERMITTENT ramp closures on SR-385 eastbound from Ridgeway Road (LM-1.26) to near Hacks Cross Road (LM-6.13) to perform the resurfacing work. Detour will be provided. Weather permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385 – Pothole Repair:
Thursday, September 20, Friday, September 21, 9:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m.: INTERMITTENT
lane closures on SR-385 east and westbound between MM 0.00 (I-240) through MM 1.00 (Ridgeway) to allow for pothole repairs. Weather Permitting

TDOT District 49 MAINTENANCE:
Thursday, September 20, through Wednesday, September 26, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:
There will be possible lane closures on all state routes and interstates for routine maintenance activities on an as needed basis.

TDOT District 49 On-Call Guardrail/Concrete Barrier Rail Repair:
Wednesday, September 19, through Tuesday, September 25, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.:
  There will be night time lane closures on I-55, I-240, I-40 (Fayette and Shelby Counties), SR 385 (Shelby County), SR 15 (Shelby County), and SR 3 (Shelby and Tipton Counties). One lane will be CLOSED to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control Weather Permitting.

Thursday, September 20, through Wednesday, September 26, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will be day time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. If weather prohibits, the repairs will be performed on the next available day. Flagmen will be used where necessary. Weather Permitting.

  • Lauderdale Co., SR 209 eastbound and westbound, MM 0.0 – MM 19.0, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED. Flagmen will be used.
  • Lauderdale Co., SR 19 east and westbound, MM 0.0 – MM 26.0, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED. Flagmen will be used.
  • Lauderdale Co., SR 371 north and southbound, MM 1.4; One lane will be CLOSED. Flagmen will be used.
  • Tipton Co., SR 3 north and southbound, MM 0.0 – MM 25.0, various locations; Shoulder closure ONLY. Flagmen will be used.

TIPTON COUNTY, SR-14: Resurfacing SR 14 from SR 59 to near SR 179 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

TIPTON COUNTY– SR 178 Culvert Replacement (Maintenance)
Saturday, October 6, 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.:
SR 178 north and southbound will be CLOSED to replace culverts between SR 59 and Sturdivant. Traffic is advised to use alternate routes. Weather permitting.
