ANDERSON COUNTY, SR 62 between Union Valley Road and SR 162: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures nightly on Sundays through Thursdays between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing project. BLOUNT COUNTY, SR 35 Hall Road near Associates Blvd.: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures daily between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform road work through this local interstate connector construction project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use caution through this area

CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 135 and 142: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this project. Motorists should be alert for lane shifts, narrowed lanes, closed shoulders and use caution as crews construct truck climbing lanes through this area.  Motorists should be alert for slowed or stopped traffic, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.  

CAMPBELL COUNTY, SR 297 near East Paul Lane: SR 297 is reduced to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal through this bridge repair project.  This reduction will remain in place around the clock.  Motorists should be alert for this new condition, be prepared to stop, and use extreme in this area.

CARTER COUNTY, US 321/SR 67 between Washington County Line and SR 359: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing and safety project. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area. This project is estimated to be complete on or before July 31, 2018.

CLAIBORNE COUNTY, US 25/SR 32 between Powell River Bridge and SR 63: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews complete final items through this roadway resurfacing project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution through this area.

CLAIBORNE COUNTY, SR 63 between Campbell County Line and Dunn Hill Road: Motorists should be alert for possible daily lane closures between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. as crews complete final items through this roadway resurfacing project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution through this area.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East near Mile Maker 430: On Monday, June 18, 2018 through Friday, June 22, 2018, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. as crews perform bridge maintenance.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect delays and use extreme caution through this area.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 435 (SR 32) and 443 (Foothills Pkwy.): Motorists traveling on I-40 in Cocke County should be aware of bridge repairs that will affect traffic between Newport and the North Carolina State Line. I-40 East near Mile Marker 443 is reduced to one lane around the clock as bridge repairs are underway. Once bridge repairs are completed, the resurfacing will begin and motorists will encounter lane closures nightly on Sundays through Thursdays between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. This project is estimated to be complete on or before August 31, 2018. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect delays and use extreme caution through this area.

COCKE COUNTY, US 25/SR 9 East Broadway Street between US 321 Cosby Highway and Belton Avenue: Motorists in the downtown Newport area should be alert for temporary road closures with detours as crews perform utility replacements through this area.  During the initial phase of work, short sections of East Broadway Street will be closed and traffic detoured around.  Truck traffic from I-40 wishing to access this area should use Exit 440 during this time.  Motorists should be alert for changed conditions and follow signed detours.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, lane closures and lane shifts, and use extreme caution through this area.  This Newport Utilities project is estimated to be complete by October 2018.

GREENE COUNTY, US 11/SR 34 between Chuckey Highway and the Washington County Line: Motorists should be alert for temporary daily lane closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. through this resurfacing project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution through this area.

GREENE COUNTY, SR 70 between Rollins Chapel Road and Allen Bridge Road: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures during daylight hours through this resurfacing project. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area. This project is estimated to be complete on or before July 31, 2018.

GREENE COUNTY, SR 107 between SR 34 and the Washington County Line: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures during daylight hours through this resurfacing project. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area. This project is estimated to be complete on or before July 31, 2018.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, US 25E/SR 32 Bridge over the Holston River:  Motorists should be alert for workers present and possible lane closures as crews complete final items through this project.  This project is estimated to be completed on or before June 30, 2018.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, SR 160 at Merchants Greene: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures daily between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. near this intersection. Motorists should be alert for changing conditions and use extreme caution in this area.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, SR 474 between SR 160 and Veteran’s Parkway: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures and lane shifts through this construction project.  Motorists should be alert for new traffic patterns; workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

HAWKINS COUNTY, SR 70 between Cave Springs Road and Mountain Valley Road: SR 70 is reduced to one lane controlled by a temporary signal in this area as crews perform slide repairs.  Motorists should use caution and be prepared to stop in this area.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, I-40 West near Mile Marker 417: On Friday, June 15, 2018, motorists should be alert for a temporary lane closure between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform roadside environmental cleanup from a recent truck accident.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays, and use extreme caution through this area.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 415 and 421: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures nightly on Sundays through Thursdays between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing project. KNOX COUNTY, I-75 South Ramp to Callahan Drive (Exit 110): Motorists should be alert for lane closures and lane shifts on this exit ramp as crews begin this ramp widening and signalization project.  Motorists should be alert for narrowed lanes, workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-140 East and West between Mile Markers 0 and 9: On Monday, June 18, 2018 through Thursday, June 21, 2018, motorists should be alert for possible nightly lane closures between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform roadway maintenance.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-640 West between Mile Markers 7.5 and 5: Motorists should be alert for lane shifts, closed shoulders, reduced speeds and use extreme caution through this construction project.

KNOX COUNTY, I-640 West near Mile Marker 3: On Sunday, June 17, 2018, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure in this area between the hours of 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail attenuator repairs.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, US 129/SR 115 Alcoa Highway between Maloney Road and Woodson Drive: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform work through this project. Motorists should be alert for lane shifts on Alcoa Highway southbound near Woodson Drive. The left turn lane from southbound Alcoa Highway onto Woodson Drive is closed. Motorists on southbound Alcoa Highway wishing to access Woodson Drive will be detoured to SR 168 Governor John Sevier Highway to SR 33 Maryville Pike back to Woodson Drive.  This closure will remain in effect through the Spring of 2018.  During this time, there will be no left turns permitted onto southbound Alcoa Highway from Woodson Drive. Motorists on Woodson Drive wishing to access southbound Alcoa Highway should follow detour route. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use caution through this area. KNOX COUNTY, US 441 Chapman Highway near Martin Mill Pike: KUB crews will implement a lane closure of the southbound, curbside lane of Chapman Highway at Martin Mill Pike overnight from 11 p.m., Thursday, June 7, 2018 through 4 a.m., Friday, June 8, 2018 as work is performed on the electric distribution system in the area. One southbound lane, the center turn lane, and both northbound lanes will remain open during this time.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 346 and 347: On Tuesday, June 19, 2018 through Thursday, June 21, 2018, motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform overhead bridge work. Motorists should be alert for closed shoulders, workers present, reduce speed and use extreme caution through this bridge repair project.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, SR 67 between South Roan Street and Milligan Highway: Motorists should use caution and be alert for construction activity and possible lane closures through this construction project.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, US 321/SR 67 between SR 381 and the Carter County Line: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing and safety project. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area. This project is estimated to be complete on or before July 31, 2018.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, US 321/SR 34 Bridge over Limestone Creek neat Log Mile 1.75: US 321/SR 34 is reduced to one lane in each direction through this bridge replacement project.  The southbound traffic has been shifted onto the northbound side.  These lane closures and lane shifts will remain in place around the clock during construction.  Motorists should be alert for changed conditions, lane shifts, reduced speeds and use extreme caution through this area.
