There is a story behind each and every life that is lost on Tennessee’s roadways, and the Department of Safety presents these stories on the Fatality Victims Memorial web page. This page offers an opportunity for families to remember and pay tribute to their loved ones, more than 1,000 of whom die on Tennessee’s roadways each year. Our hope is that by sharing the stories of motor vehicle crash victims, we can help motorists become safer drivers and spare others the anguish of losing a loved one. As always, our goal is to protect Tennessee motorists and save lives.
To contribute to the Victims Memorial web page, please complete the Memorial Form.

The Tennessee Department of Safety has designed this web page as a way for family members to pay tribute to and remember their loved ones, not as a forum to discuss the facts of the crash and investigation. The information contained in each tribute was written and submitted to the Department of Safety by the victim’s family. The Department of Safety reserves the right, however, to reject any material that may be considered offensive and to edit tributes for content and length. Only family members may submit information about a fatality victim, and we will accept only one submission per victim.
