Safety Commissioner Dave Mitchell and Deputy Commissioner Greta Dajani invite the public to come and visit the new, larger facility, which is located at 307 Industrial Boulevard in Tullahoma, Tennessee. WHO: Tennessee Department of Safety WHAT: Open House WHEN: Thursday, October 8, 2008 WHERE: 307 Industrial Boulevard The Department of Safety moved its Coffee County Driver License Center from Manchester, TN, to the new location in Tullahoma in June, 2008. The Tennessee Department of Safety’s mission is (www.tennessee.gov/safety) to ensure the safety and general welfare of the public. The department encompasses the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Office of Homeland Security and Driver License Services. General areas of responsibility include law enforcement, safety education, motorist services and terrorism prevention.
