The Tennessee Highway Patrol conducted Operation S.T.O.P. May 3-4 2007.
Statewide Results from Operation United S.T.O.P. at 8 sites across the state
- A total of 395 Hazardous Materials trucks were checked, including 466 moveable containers and 218 rental vehicles.
- 596 Safety Defects were found
- 329 trucks were checked by bomb or drug dogs
- 760 trucks were checked for radiological contaminants
- Stops resulted in 4 misdemeanor drug arrests.
