The Whitehaven Driver Service Center currently located at 3200 E. Shelby Drive Memphis, TN 38118 will be closed on Thursday, July 16, 2009 and moving to 3040 Walnut Grove Road in Midtown. This closure will allow for the construction of a new full-service, Driver Service Center to be built at this location to better serve the growing needs of Memphis and Shelby County.

The Driver Service Center at 3040 Walnut Grove Road in Midtown, has been expanded to provide you the best possible service. Effective July 16th, the new days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m.

Effective July 16th, all Department of Safety Driver Service Centers located in Shelby County will be open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Customers may also utilize the full-service Driver Service Centers in Tipton and Fayette County. Tipton and Fayette County Driver Service Centers are open Tuesday - Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Customers only needing a duplicate or renewal of a Non-Commercial Driver License can visit the nearby Shelby County Clerk's Office, located at 150 Washington Avenue, Suite 103, Memphis. It is open Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:15 pm.
