The Tennessee Department of Revenue employs more than 1,000 employees working throughout the state and in several out-of-state field offices. We are Tennessee's chief tax collector responsible for administering the state's tax laws and motor vehicle title and registrations laws. The Department of Revenue is continuing to grow and evolve and is looking for smart, energetic people, who want interesting and challenging careers in multiple fields: tax auditors, audit field agents, tax enforcement agents, special investigations agents, customer service representatives, Revenue account technicians, systems analysts, accountants, computer programmers, and title and registration representatives.
