The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) helps low-income households reduce energy costs by providing assistance to weatherize their homes.

WAP services are available in all 95 counties. The program is administered through contracts with an established network of 18 local agencies experienced in providing weatherization services.

If you are interested in applying for the program, please contact your local WAP agency. Households must be at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines. Click here to view the Income Table. Eligible households with elderly, disabled, or young children are given priority for service.

Please contact your local WAP agency for information and training registration. In addition to contacting local action agencies for information, a temporary toll-free training registration number has been established and can be reached at 1-877-830-3304.
