A re-determination for continued
eligibility will be completed every six months. (Refer to Redetermination Procedures
Policy). Verification of enrollment and attendance is required for
redetermination. This information can
be mailed or faxed by the teen parent or school staff to the local
Certificate Program office. A
face-to-face interview is not required to complete a redetermination. Emancipated teen parents, a teen that is no longer living in the home
of the parent(s) or guardian, will have their current household composition
determined for the purpose of calculating income and weekly parent co-pay
fee. |
