Sabrina Hooper, Deputy Director
Sabrina Hooper is the Deputy Director for the Tennessee Human Rights Commission. As Deputy Director she is responsible for managing the agency's enforcement program for employment, housing and public accommodation. Ms. Hooper received her master's degree in Public Administration from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. Previous to joining the Commission, Ms. Hooper has worked as Director/ADA Coordinator - Office of Equal Opportunity for Murray State. In that capacity, she was responsible to the University President for all aspects of the University's compliance with federal/state laws, regulations and university polices /procedures regarding employment equal opportunity.
Matthew Stephenson, Title VI Compliance Director
Matthew Stephenson received a B.S. degree from Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, AL, where he also received a Distinction in Leadership Studies. He served with the U.S. Peace Corps in Ecuador. He is bilingual in Spanish, and has been trained as a Rule 31 Mediator. He has been with the Commission for seven years.
