Design/Construction

The Design/Construction team is comprised of three professional groups: Architects, Interior Designers, and Construction Administrators. The primary responsibility of this group is to meet the program needs of the different State agencies, and to deliver quality space within the approved funding and the time frame required by the agency. The Design/Construction Management group is organized into agency teams which interact closely with the agency in planning and implementing the project from conception to finished product.

During a projects life cycle the project team will interact with all departments of state government. Project requirements and guidelines are set by and must meet the approval of the State Building Commission. The Commission consists of the Governor, the Speakers of the House and Senate; the Comptroller of the Treasury, the State Treasurer, the Secretary of State and the Commissioner of Finance and Administration.
