Design

The Design Management group consist of project managers who are registered Architects and have vaious State agencies assigned to their teams. Their objective is to lead and direct the design process, to create and generate buildings, and to house various State operations and programs. Responsibilities include building budget and program review, contracting with architecture/engineering firms which are commissioned to design the facilities and general project oversight. They cover the technical services and plan review to ensure code compliance, quality, and technical accuracy of plans and specifications prepared by the contracted design consultants.

Project Managers provide specialized services as the owner's agent. They serve as the team leader, ensuring large and small details are managed for the best benefit of the final product. They focus on providing value-added services, such as value engineering and prototype construction which enhances the long-range service of the building. Project managers work with the end users from the beginning until the facility is in service.
