F & A executive leadership recognized the need for a highly skilled, independent consulting group to help provide departments and agencies with operational and programmatic resources to address the complex issues they face and to provide funding for the Office of Consulting Services to assist agencies at no cost.

What is your product?

How long do your projects take?

OCS offers a wide-range of services that vary in duration. The project length will depend on the needs of our individual customers.

All material and information provided to, or aquired by, the Office of Consulting Services shall be regarded as confidential information and all necessary steps shall be taken by the Office of Consulting Services to safeguard the confidentiality of such material or information.

How do you prioritize project requests?

We offer first consideration to project requests for assistance with items that:

• are identified in an agency's strategic plan,
• are clearly linked to an agency's overall goals and/or performance standards,
• are driven by critical, measurable organizational performance issues,
• have the potential to move an agency or a program forward,
• involve an organization that is ready to undertake a change effort that may require significant commitment and resource dedication, and/or
• involve multiple agencies.

What are some services that OCS does not provide?

• Temporary agency staffing
• Overall project management (i.e., 'project manager-for-hire' assignments)
