The State of Tennessee’s Fiscal Year 2010-2011 budget process is underway, as Finance & Administration Commissioner Dave Goetz joins Governor Phil Bredesen for the eighth round open state budget hearings.
Monthly distributions for fiscal year tax estimates, which are used to support the state’s annual budget. The state's methodology for projecting monthly tax collection estimates includes the services of the University of Tennessee’s Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) and researchers at the Tennessee Department of Revenue.

The Department of Finance and Administration makes recommendations for the state budget appropriation of federal funds through ARRA. F&A also distributes funding to support crime prevention and control, improve the criminal justice system at the local level and support victim assistance programs. In addition, the eHealth Initiative will provide guidance for health information technology incentive programs and grants.
