If the mission statement explains our purpose, then a vision statement expresses what we want to become: an ideal future state to which we aspire. A vision guides us toward excellence; inspires us to greater accomplishments; shows us future possibilities; and at the same time is a realistic, focused expectation. As such, a vision statement should be attainable, worth doing, and must require the involvement of everyone in the organization.

The Finance and Administration vision statement expresses the department’s desire to provide opportunities for direct practice of the Continuous Improvement principles and the Finance and Administration values.
