The Division maintains lists of current public notices of permit applications, draft permits, public hearings, and rule-making activities. Public comment and participation are encouraged on all of these issues. Comments on any issue are welcome at any time and may be made by sending e-mail to ask.tdec@tn.gov.

Anyone wishing to be notified of public notices of permitting decisions, public hearings, and rule-making activities may request to be included on the Division's public notice mailing list.

To be added to the public notice mailing list for NPDES and SOP - Municipal, Domestic and Industrial permits / Interbasin Water Transfer Notices send your complete contact information, including name, phone number, mailing address, and email address, to Elizabeth.Rorie@tn.gov. Public notices are sent out twice per month.

Permit appeals are heard by the Water Quality Control Board. To be added to the sunshine notice list for Water Quality Control Board meetings, send your email address to James.P.Cromer@tn.gov. The sunshine notice is sent out at least monthly.
