Mission
- Advocate, advance, assist, and support the appropriate use
of technology to address the business functions and educational
goals of the Department of Education and Tennessee's Schools
by establishing a technology framework providing timely access
to information and through effective management of technology
resources.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, install and maintain the Department of Education's
technological environment.
- Network hardware and software
- Application programs and data
Manage Department of Education Technology Resources
- Provide technology infrastructure assistance to State Special
Schools and Department of Education Training Centers.
- Assist Office of Teaching and Learning with Fall Tennessee
Educational Technology Conference (TETC).
