Statewide Student Management System (SSMS)

Implementation Status Update as of 4/30/07

Ninety-nine school districts, three State Special Schools and the Department of Children’s Services are involved in live implementation of the SSMS (Star Student and EasyIEP) during the 2006-07 school year.  Six additional school districts and one State Special School are in the process of transitioning to the SSMS for the 2007-08 school year.   

The Phase IV districts are in the process of data conversion and have completed their initial round of training.  Training for the remaining Star Student modules will continue through the fall of 2007.  Once the Phase IV districts begin live implementation, a total of 105 school districts will be using the SSMS in the 2007-08 school year.
