If your LEA was monitored on-site during the spring of 2007, your LEA has either a gold or green field. If your system has a gold field in this column, your system is either: 1) in monitoring now or 2) was monitored on-site and the status of this on-site monitoring was incomplete pending compliance with an approved Comprehensive Action Plan Agreement. Once the process is completed, the report filed, and the assessment is approved by SDE, the LEA will receive an approval letter from the Executive Director of Federal Programs and the field will be changed to green. Please contact your NCLB consultants if your system field is gold and you have questions about this process. Monitoring is usually completed by the end of May.
