Please plan to join us at the 7th Annual LEADership Conference, September 23-25, 2008, at the Nashville Convention Center. Designed specifically for school and district educational leaders, the conference offers opportunities for growth and development in leadership skills.  A combination of nationally recognized presenters and school/district leaders in Tennessee will enlighten and inspire you in leading the way for student achievement. Conference activities will focus on the theme of this year's conference: “We Believe. We Achieve.”

Presenters

Proposal submission for this year's conference has concluded. Notification of proposal acceptance and schedule will be sent to each presenter in early August.  Questions about presentations should be directed to Gaye Hawks at hawksg@charter.net.

Exhibitors

If you sell to the education market in Tennessee, you should be in Nashville for LEAD.  An estimated 1,200 teachers and administrators are expected at this year's conference, and the trade show will be actively marketed to: K-12 and Higher Education Teachers, Technology Coordinators, Lead Teachers, Instructional Coaches, Curriculum Specialists, Professional Development Trainers/Supervisors, and more.  Space fills up quickly, so be sure to apply early!

Room Reservations

The Renaissance Nashville Hotel, which is physically connected to the Nashville Convention Center, will be the conference headquarters hotel. Conference room rates at the Renaissance are: $162 single/double or $172 triple/quad. Rooms may be reserved by calling the hotel directly at 800-327-6618 or 615-255-8400. Please be sure to identify yourself as a LEAD Conference participant when making reservations. The special LEAD room rates are available until September 2nd or until the conference block of rooms is sold out. The address of the Renaissance is 611 Commerce Street, Nashville, TN 37203-3725. Rooms will also be blocked at several additional nearby hotels.
