Presenting at TETC 2014
The Tennessee Department of Education is pleased to launch the call for proposals for the 2014 Tennessee Educational Technology Conference. This year’s conference theme will be PARCC. Session proposals should center on the following three guiding questions:
- Why is it important that students develop proficiency with technology?
- What does it look like to for districts, schools, teachers, students, and parents to be “PARCC ready”?
- How do we use technology to support student learning?
We are seeking engaging, knowledgeable presenters to lead sessions with Tennessee educators and/or technology personnel focused on the above questions. The TETC Conference is an opportunity for schools and districts to share the practices that drive their results with one another. Partner organizations, higher education representatives, and others are welcomed to apply to present.
If you are interested in applying to present at the TETC Conference, please complete the online proposal by Feb. 7, 2014. If you have any questions, please email TETC.Conference@tn.gov.
