Institute for CTE Educators

This year, the 2014 Institute for CTE Educators is July 7-11 at the Music City Center in Nashville, TN.

The theme for this year’s institute is Raising Expectations for Student Success. The institute will focus on CTE course standards with instructional and content shifts, general education integration, special populations, industry certification for teachers, and early postsecondary opportunities. Teachers and directors will experience a week full of instructional resources, networking opportunities, and professional growth. With this theme in mind, we are excited to bring you sessions centered around Postsecondary Readiness, Career Readiness, and Teacher Readiness. These strands focus on the student experience in the classroom and assisting teachers by providing tools they can use in preparing their students for postsecondary and career.
