Item Samplers and Pamphlets

Students who entered their freshmen year in 2001-2002, and thereafter must pass three Gateway tests Mathematics, Language Arts and Science before graduation to earn a high school diploma. These Gateway Tests are part of the End of Course series of tests that students take in high school.

Below are links to the Item Samplers and Practice Test for the three Gateway Tests. These samplers and practice test provide examples of items that cover each Reporting Category and Performance Indicator for the appropriate test. The examples illustrate the formats of the questions used to evaluate the student's mastery of the Performance Indicator.
