Processing GED Transcripts

The Education division can provide GED transcripts for those earning a GED while incarcerated in a Tennessee state prison.

To acquire a copy of your GED transcript, the "GED Transcript Request" form must be completed in its entirety and signed by the GED recipient.  Please click here for the "GED Transcript Request" form (in pdf format).

A processing fee of $10.20 is required for each transcript requested, and it is due at the time of the request.  This fee must be received in the form of a check or money order made payable to the State of Tennessee Department of Correction.  Upon receipt of your completed request, a copy will be mailed to the address provided within the "GED Transcript Request" form.  Please allow 7-10 business days to receive your transcript.  Failure to complete the form in its entirety, provide a signature, or include the processing fee may result in a delay in the issuance of your transcript.
