Obtaining Archived Records

The Department of Correction frequently receives requests for historical records on inmates.

Requests should be submitted in writing by fax or mail to:

* Indicate the type of information you are requesting from the record..

* Include a telephone number, address and email address (if available) where you can be reached.

If an archive search is required, there will be a charge of 15 cents per page. Do not send a payment with your original request. You will be contacted with a cost estimate when the search is complete.

The information will be mailed to the address provided when payment is received.

Sentence Information

To obtain information about an offender's sentence, send a written request to the address below. In order to help expedite your request, include information that tells us what you are needing, such as release eligibility date, credits earned, etc.

Quite often, we have several inmates with the same name. Provide us with the offenders full name, date of birth, social security number and inmate number, if known.
