The Division of Budget is responsible for the preparation, presentation, and execution of the annual budget and the annual strategic plan for the State of Tennessee. Throughout the entire budgeting and planning cycles, the Division of Budget serves as the primary financial planning support team for the Governor and the Commissioner of Finance and Administration. Our job is to understand the myriad business needs of the various state agencies, and to assist them in achieving success. We are committed to providing effective and efficient solutions to the fiscal issues facing state government.
