Robert Gribble serves as Executive Director of the Board of Funeral Directors & Embalmers and Burial Services where he combines his expertise as a funeral service professional with the regulation of the funeral, preneed, and cemetery industries. Mr. Gribble is licensed as a funeral director and embalmer in Tennessee and Kentucky, a Certified Public Manager (CPM), Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP), and Certified Crematory Operator (CCO).

He is a graduate of the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science, the Tennessee Government Management Institute (TGMI) and the FBI Citizens Academy. He is currently serving as a board member of the International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards and is past president of both the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association and the Tennessee Board of Funeral Directors & Embalmers.
