Tennessee Private Protective Services regulates Armed and Unarmed SecurityGuards, Guard Certified Trainers,
Contract Security Companiesand Proprietary Security Organizations (PSO’s)
in compliance with duties allocated by statute, including license and
registration determination, and disciplinary actions resulting from complaints
against licensees.
The Private Protective Services Advisory Committee
meets several times each year to review Administrative Rule changes, continuing
education and suggested training requirements. These meetings are open
to the public, as prescribed by the Tennessee Sunshine Law, and Committee
members welcome your attendance.
