L.H. "Cotton" Ivy Laboratory

TDA's L. H. "Cotton" Ivy Laboratory was created by the consolidation of several small laboratory facilities into one state of the art facility.  The purpose of the Ivy Laboratory is to safeguard the health and safety of Tennesseans and to aid in enforcement of labeling requirements designed to protect the consumer.

There are thirteen specialty program sections to the laboratory:   Seed Lab, Feed & Fertilizer, Toxicology, Food Residue, Chemical Support, Environmental Monitoring, Histology, Animal Microbiology, Food Microbiology, Biological Support, Virology, Immunology and Serology.
