Laboratory Services TDA's laboratory is divided into three groups: Biological Services, including the animal diagnostic laboratory and the food microbiology laboratory; Chemical Services, which is comprised of toxicology and food residue services, environmental monitoring and feed, seed and fertilizer testing; and Administrative Services, which includes procurement and clerical services. It is housed in the ultra-modern L. H. "Cotton" Ivy Laboratory Building. The purpose of the laboratory is to provide quality analytical data in a safe, timely and efficient manner. It serves as the eyes and ears of quality control, playing a vital supporting role in the mission of many divisions of the department.
