How do I get a forestry job?

There are two main types of forestry jobs – professional and technical.  To be a professional forester you must have a bachelor’s degree in forestry from an accredited university.  Jobs are available with the federal government, private companies and as private consultants, but most jobs are found with state governments.  To apply for a forestry job with Tennessee, you will need to complete an application.
