“Preserving Tennessee’s Cultural Heritage: Statewide Conservation Initiative”
Together the Tennessee State Library and Archives and Tennessee State Museum plan to work together to identify the preservation needs of Tennessee’s cultural heritage collections. The IMLS preservation planning grant will permit these two agencies to survey, and identify conservation/environmental conditions, and provide educational resources for conservation. Read More...

Oral History Workshop on July 17, 2008, at the Nashville Public Library
The Tennessee Historical Records Advisory Board is sponsoring a half-day workshop on oral history led by Dr. Stephen Sloan, Director of the Institute for Oral History at Baylor University. The workshop is free and open to the public.
